The Dame Juliana Anglers (DJA) is a women's fly fishing club that is named after the First Lady of Fly Fishing, Dame Juliana Berners, who in 1496 authored what is known to be the first fly fishing treatise.

We are the Arizona chapter of DJA, based in Phoenix. Our goal is to bring women together to fish, to socialize, and to have an enjoyable time. We meet the first Tuesday of each month in Phoenix; our meetings are informative and informal; we plan all types of fishing trips throughout Arizona, the western states, Canada, and Alaska. Please click on our scrapbook page to see some of the great times we have together.

We invite you to join us in our quest for having fun and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors; we fish streams, lakes, and rivers. Our membership includes beginners, intermediate and long-time fly fishers. Most of our members come to the club with no fly fishing experience whatsoever but are curious about the sport and want to try it out! All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and desire to enjoy the experiences we share. You'll be hooked! We are!!
